Register with Motor Junction

To get the most out of Motor Junction and to gain access to the most popular areas of the site, you must register as a Motor Junction user. Membership is free, we won’t pass your information on to anyone else and registration is quick and easy. Just click the Register link at the left of your screen.

Take a moment to read our User Agreement – this sets out the terms and conditions for Motor Junction users. If you’re happy that you understand and agree to our terms and conditions, click to check the box near the bottom of your screen, then click the continue button and follow the instructions.

When you’ve completed the online registration, we’ll forward a PDF form for you to fill out and return to us, with an acceptable form of identification. As soon as we’ve verified these details, you’ll receive an email to let you know that your account has been activated.

Your password will be sent to the email address you provided . 

Change Your Account Details

To change your account details. Click the Edit Account Details link in the menu on the left of your screen, select the type of membership you have and then click the Submit button.

We’ll then forward a PDF form for you to fill out and return to us, with an acceptable form of identification. As soon as we’ve verified these details, you’ll receive an email to let you know that your account has been updated.

Use SMS Services

Motor Junction offers you the option to make auction bids and track the progress of an auction by text message.

To take advantage of SMS services, click the Edit SMS Services link, follow the instructions on screen and make sure that that the SMS Service Status is set to on.

Change Your Password

To choose a new password, click the Change Your Password link; enter the details of your current password and choose a new word that’s easy for you to remember, then click the save button.

Forgotten Your Password?

If you can’t remember your password, click the Retrieve Lost Password link and enter the email address you used to register with Motor Junction. A new password will be chosen for you and sent to your email address. When you receive your new password, log in and change it to something that’s easy for you to remember, by clicking the Change Your Password link.

View Your Statements

To view your monthly statement, choose the View Statement link from the Billing menu, select the monthly statement you want to view and click the continue button.

NB : The current balance of your account is displayed in the top left hand corner of the screen

Make a Payment

To pay money into your motor junction account, choose the Make a Payment link from the Billing menu. The minimum amount £2.00. Online p ayments to Motor Junction can only be made by credit or debit card – so make sure you have your card to hand.

The details you enter are protected by SSL encryption – this helps to secure your card details and prevent your personal information from falling into the wrong hands. Most web browsers will support this security feature but, if you have any problems accessing this area of the site, you can update your browser at the Microsoft or Netscape websites.

To make a payment, follow the instructions on screen to enter your card details - if you have difficulty with any of the information you are asked to provide, click the icons for information and advice. When you’ve entered all the necessary details, click the Make a Payment button at the bottom of the screen.

It can take several minutes to authorise and process your payment so please be patient – if you click any of your browser buttons during this time, your payment could fail.

NB : Payments can take up to 7 days to show on your online statement.

View Fees and Charges

Choose the Motor Junction Fees link from the Billing menu for details of the fees and charges that apply to all Motor Junction services.

Contact Other Users

Motor Junction allows users to stay in touch by send and receiving online messages. To send, read and manage your online messages, choose the Inbox link from the Email and Messaging menu.
